Sometimes you just want to feel like a kid again and these chocolate chip cookies don’t disapoint. Don’t miss out on feeling like a kid (but still partying like an adult) with these amazing cookies.

Ingredients:

3 3/4 cups flour

1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cinnamon stick

1 1/4 cup (2 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, browned

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 cup Red Eye Hot

2 egg

1 1/2 – 2 cups Chocolate Chips

24 chocolate melts

Directions:

Start by browning the butter. When it’s done, place in a bowl with a cinnamon stick and cool in the fridge. In a large bowl, whisk the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Set this aside. When the butter is cooled, mix together with the brown and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Mix in the vanilla and add the eggs—beat well. At last you’ll mix in your Red Eye Hot! Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, and combine. Stir in chocolate chips. Form the dough into balls around a chocolate melt. Refrigerate dough for at least an hour. Preheat oven to 350F and bake for 10 – 12 minutes. If they seem underdone, don’t worry, they need to cool and will firm up.
